Cover full medical history and contraindications (pregnancy/breastfeeding, neuromuscular disorders, allergies, medications), realistic expectations, onset/duration, risks including asymmetry and ptosis, and a two-week review. Follow current AHPRA guidance for patients under 18 — additional safeguards and referrals apply. Confirm the prescriber/order is valid, document informed consent and photos, and report any adverse events to the TGA.
