Any tips for actually learning the facial danger zones?

I know the theory but it doesn't feel second-nature yet. How did you make the danger zones stick?

  • Learn the arteries by region and always know what's under your needle. Aspirate, use low pressure and small aliquots, and consider cannula in higher-risk areas. Hands-on/cadaver courses helped me most. The Anatomy library here is a good quick refresher by region.

  • Drawing them out from memory a few times a week helped me more than re-reading.
